CEE Comp contestors gathered for the second time
Second meeting was held on March 30. This time, our candidate DHL hosted the event and provided the particpants catering and a tour of its permises. We sincerly appreciate its initiative !
The meeting was themed on the good use of air conditioning (AC). A topic on which Mr Wilfred Dutruel managing director at M.E.P.E, provided a relevant presentation. In particular, he shared advice on proper maintenance and sizing of the air conditioning system. ATS took then the floor and gave feedback on the experiments they conducted in their offices. The results emphasized the effiency of behavorial change. Setting the AC from 18°C to 25°C allowed ATS to save 37% energy and closing the doors when the AC is turned on covered rooms saved up to 18%.
The last part of the meeting allowed the candidates to share their experience on the competition during the 3Cs workshop. They discussed the relevance of the already implemented activites but also ideas to potentially test in their buildings. Accordingly the candidates created 3 categories of ideas : to Continue, to Cancel or to Create. This shows their great motivation and implication in the competition.
