The thematic competition is part of the 90-day CEE Comp challenge between six universities. The students participating in this energy efficiency challenge were asked to answer the following question: “What would you do to promote energy efficiency in your university?”. 

To address this question, the students had to focus on one way to raise awareness of energy efficiency in their university. This awareness method needed to be clear, easily achievable, and ready to implement with concrete actions defined. The student teams had three weeks to present their solution by making a production of their choice (video, audio, drawing, short film, play, poem, writing, etc.) according to their preference.

The winners of this contest are:

• 1st: Youth East Team from the National University of Battambang (NUBB)
• 2nd: Serey Bunmanith Tong’s Team from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE)
• 3rd: EKE from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC)

Congratulations to all the students for their creativity and efforts! The CEE Comp team was impressed by the motivation of the participating teams and the quality of the work delivered

About the CEE Comp: The Cambodia Energy Efficiency Competition is implemented by the ITC and Sevea. It is a local adaptation of the CUBE competition initiated by the French Institute for Building Performance (IFPEB) as a bid to reduce carbon emissions in France.
